AIR FRYER CRISPY TOFU RECIPE! Easy, Yummy & Healthy ~ Emi

Hi, I'm Emi recently, very obsessed with my new air fryer toy! It is very easy to use but this is XL, the largest size. Another good thing about an air fryer is that you can add less oil. I still got the fries to have a slightly crunchy texture. I've been trying out different recipes and incorporating them into my healthy eating week at home. So far, one of my favorite recipes is tofu. Tofu is a great source of plant-based protein. When choosing tofu for your air fryer it's best to choose the firmest…it's the firm type of Japanese tofu that I really like to use. Or there is another kind of Taiwanese tofu sometimes my family and I used to drain it the second step is to press the tofu to get more water out and now we will use the food bag to season the tofu you can mix it well together without breaking the tofu but then we put it in a bowl and you use something to stir. It's very easy You can season the tofu however you want I usually season it according to how I'm feeling that day You don't necessarily need to follow my steps and steps Ingredients: The first is black sesame oil The second is soy sauce I also got a bunch of organic seasoning powders from… I don't measure any something. So I do it according to what I feel like a little black sesame oil with the soy sauce and now we're going to make the really dry mixture depends on what kind of spices or ingredients you have at home and you don't need to add all and now we're going to let it soak in a little bit I'm going to let it soak in for 30 minutes and then come back for the last step after Few moments now we will take out the tofu marinate well we will divide this tofu into two different batches.. one of them is fried crispy texture which I think is more popular. The other batch is my personal preference because I don't like food that's too fried. So it's more fried, but we can cook both different batches at once Emi will first put in half the tofu, which will be the fried version We'll dip the tofu in the cornstarch to create a crunchy texture This half is the fried version so it requires one less step without the cornstarch. Adding cornstarch makes it crunchier and deeper and requires a little longer cooking to temperature, whatever you cook, I always like to use 180. For time this actually depends on the size of your tofu. My recommendation is not to do this for too long at first because if it's not cooked enough, you can just add more time. Let's do eight minutes. I'm so excited because it's my first time trying tofu I'm the only one I know Prefers the skillet versions Everyone likes this way too Hmm you guys can try both.. Smells so good Okay, I just open it up like this. indeed. I'm excited 1 2 3 Very good indeed super golden brown. The pan is already one how I want it to be. Yes, I don't want them to burn. The deep fryer, I think I can do it a little longer and now we're going to turn the fryer around a little bit before putting it back it's so easy! Really good for people who can't cook. Mix everything together so you don't even need to measure anything just as you wish and it comes out amazing we'll do just a minute. Eight minutes plus two so ten extra minutes now one minute up to eleven minutes total perfect so these are the general fighting games you can see a little bit softer and these are the crunchy deep frying which looks pretty good which one do you want to try this other than cornstarch Softer is very good such shallow fry that I can eat it often. Their dry scrub formula is really good. You are a good cook and smoothie usually if you don't use air fryer just use a frying pan then you need to add a lot of oil to achieve that that's all for today's video I hope you guys like my tofu skillet recipe.
